"Atkins wins Cornish resignalling contract"
The International Railway Journal has shared the news that "Britain’s infrastructure manager Network Rail (NR) has awarded a £9m contract to Atkins to upgrade signalling on a section of the Cornish Main Line.
Atkins will be responsible for upgrading signalling between Truro and St Erth as part of the Cornwall Capacity Enabling Scheme (CCES), which will facilitate the operation of half-hourly services between Plymouth and Penzance per hour."
