"Crossrail dig unearths thousands of jars"

The Evening Standard shared the news story that "a hidden vault filled with Victorian jam jars has been unearthed during the construction of Crossrail."

Archaeologists working on the construction site of the new Elizabeth line at Tottenham Court Road in 2010, stumbled across a landfill site of Crosse & Blackwell, a Victorian manufacturing company.
