"Greater Anglia's new £1.4bn high-tech train fleet"

Today, the International Business Times has reported on Greater Anglia's new £1.4bn high-tech train fleet.

"UK rail operator Greater Anglia has given a sneak peek inside its futuristic new trains due to be deployed across the east of England as early as 2019. The completely redesigned fleet includes more spacious layouts and brings mod-cons such as free high-speed Wi-Fi and "state-of-the-art" passenger information displays.

The £1.4bn revamp sees the rail operator's entire fleet replaced with 169 new trains that will not only offer a better on-board experience for passengers, but also cut journey times, improve reliability and increase carriage capacity.
