Severn Tunnel gears up for ‘iconic’ six-week electrification work

The RTM has released a news article explaining how "Network Rail engineers are gearing up for a six-week closure of the 130-year-old Severn Tunnel in order to prepare it for electrification."

The tunnel will be closed from Monday 12th September and will see "200 engineers working day and night in the tunnel to install over eight miles of electrical equipment."
