Rate: £26.00 per hour (Umbrella)

Job Description:
A local authority is seeking an interim Revenues Officer to join its Council Tax Billing Team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to play a key role in ensuring the timely and accurate assessment of Housing Benefit and Council Tax Support claims.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and assess Housing Benefit and Council Tax Support claims accurately and efficiently.
• Handle enquiries from the public regarding Council Tax, Benefits, and Council Tax Support.
• Administer Council Tax and National Non-Domestic Rates (NNDR).
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and policies.
• Liaise with internal departments and external agencies to resolve queries.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in Local Government.
• Strong knowledge and experience in Council Tax administration.
• Experience in National Non-Domestic Rating (NNDR) administration.
• Familiarity with Housing Benefits and Council Tax Support.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
