Systems Engineer ( Critical Systems)
As an experienced Systems Engineer from within critical systems, you will be hired to take a leadership role on a prestigious infrastructure project, to manage over 1500 interfaces of critical systems on a new railway.
The role is called a Lead Technical Interface Manager, the interfaces are already mapped out, and at first you will be introducing the new tier 1 and main contractors to the process, tools and systems.Thereafter you will be managing the interfaces, as the systems contracts are let, designed, built and tested.
You will lead a team, and work with subject matter expects across the project, monitoring the interfaces as the project continues to evolve.
This is ideal for a systems engineer within critical environments, and does not need to be a rail systems engineer. Rather it is the critical thinking, processes and importantly people management skills that are critical here. A background from areas such as Defence, Aerospace, Nuclear, Rail would be welcome.
